COVID-19 NEWS
Grace to you saints,
In a press conference this evening, The Quebec Government has announced that, in order to curb the climbing number of COVID cases due to the Omicron variant, all places of worship are shut down until further notice. As such, our New Year’s Eve celebration previously scheduled for this Friday has unfortunately been CANCELLED. Effective as of this Sunday, we will return to online-only services for both Quebec campuses (Greenfield Park and Pointe-Claire) unless otherwise noted. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM COMING TO THE SANCTUARY as the current fines for violating these mandates range from $1,000 to $6,000 per offence. We have attached the updated document from the Quebec government which reflects the new restrictions. Without a shadow of a doubt this is most certainly a challenging time for the church. That said, though the doors of the sanctuary are temporarily closed, the work of the Kingdom continues.

While we await the opportunity to come together again in person, we can take advantage of the various giving options to ensure the work of the Lord continues. This includes our regular tithes and offering as well as the First Fruits offering that the Lord shared with us this past Sunday. If you don’t have access to technology, please contact the church office directly at (514) 694-3347 or Missionary Alicia Wright at (438) 884-4484 to arrange the transfer of your gift for the work of God in our city and abroad.
As we weather this storm together, we will continue to keep you updated via email and our social media channels regarding the latest developments. Though our celebrations may look different this year, we can and will do all things through the Christ that strengthens us. Yes, WE CAN!

It has come to our attention that there is some ambiguity regarding whether we are able to stream service from the sanctuary as a result of the most recently implemented COVID measures. As such, in order to avoid any confusion and any unnecessary fines, I have made the decision to suspend all online services for the week of January 2nd. All services (including French service) are scheduled to resume on Sunday, January 9th pending confirmation. When we do resume, all services (including Greenfield Park) will be streamed from Pointe-Claire for the foreseeable future.
As we are not broadcasting this week, I encourage you to tune in to and/or support our Cambridge branch on Sunday morning at 12:30 p.m. I appreciate your continued understanding as we navigate through this unfathomable period in our lives and city.
